We have an incredible leadership opportunity for an energetic, focused and passionate medical professional as Medical Director in our award-winning medical practice.
We are on a journey to contemporise our medical practice, developing an innovative, patient-centric model to deliver our services via an integrated team approach. Our aim is to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients in the most effective, efficient way. We believe our new model of practice will do this.
This is a considerable opportunity for an individual who is committed to whānau wellbeing and can use their skills to implement and lead our delivery model to achieve success.
We won't leave any stone unturned in our search to recruit an exceptional person, and won't settle for any less than our clients deserve. The appointment of the right candidate is not just pivotal to our medical practice, but to the success of our organisation and the important role it plays within our community. Therefore, we are committed to a robust recruitment process in order to identify the most outstanding candidate.
If you're eager for a new career challenge and believe you have the experience, aspiration and dedication to lead our health service, and play an important part in this change process, we want to hear from you.
Our organisation
Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is a thriving, values-based, family-focused organisation with a staff of around 200. Our innovative health, social, education and community development teams have been achieving great outcomes with whānau across sunny Hawke's Bay for the past 30 years.
Our medical centre, Hauora Heretaunga, is a RNZCGP teaching practice and an acknowledged leader in the development and provision of integrated healthcare and practice initiatives, resulting in enhanced outcomes for communities with diverse needs.
It complements other avenues of health care and promotion delivered from our campus, including mental health, school-based nursing and Well Child Tamariki Ora. It is also central to the way we design and deliver broader, personalised packages of care and support for whānau.
