Masterton Water Supply Concern

Criticism is mounting of the Masterton District Council's handling of the contamination of the town's water supply with the potentially fatal bug cryptosporidium.

The parasite was found in the water last week, prompting a warning to boil all drinking water, but the council does not know how long the crisis will last.

One woman is very ill and she believes cryptosporidiosis may be to blame.
