Police have praised the crowds at this year's Polyfest in South Auckland for being "fun, safe and sober".
Inspector Alan Shearer of Counties Manukau Police said about 50,000 people attended the second of the two-day cultural event.
"The event organisers did a great job ensuring it remained alcohol and smoke free throughout and police are to have been part of the success," he said.
Shearer said 14 people were asked to leave the Manukau Sports Bowl due to "behavioural issues".
Another two people were arrested for breaching their bail conditions.
"But when you consider about 80,000 people attended over the two days, it's clear the vast majority of those who participated and enjoyed Polyfest were there for all the right reasons," he said.
Yesterday, police said a 16-year-old boy had drank nine litres of wine before falling unconscious at the Westfield Manukau Mall.
Shearer said the incident was unrelated to Polyfest.
