The director of a New Zealand firm allegedly linked to arms traffickers has admitted making false statements on company registration forms but has escaped a penalty.
Lu Zhang, 28, was convicted of 74 charges in the Auckland District Court yesterday but no penalty was imposed, said her lawyer, Frank Deliu.
The charges followed the seizure last year of weapons from North Korea bound for Iran.
