A man charged with the manslaughter of a woman whose body has never been found has been denied parole as he continues to be a threat against women.
Mark Edward Pakenham, 53, is currently serving six years and seven months in jail for the manslaughter of his girlfriend, Waikato woman Sara Niethe.
Ms Niethe went missing in 2003. In 2013, Pakenham admitted killing her "accidentally" after consensually injecting her with methamphetamine on March 30, 2003.
He told authorities, and maintains his stance still, that he does not know where her body is.

Advertise with NZME.A parole decision released today reveals a psychological report was carried out in May this year. Results showed Pakenham gave inconclusive and contrary answers and also showed limited insight into his offending.
"The report shows him - in the opinion of the psychologist - to have the traits of superficiality, grandiosity, deceitfulness and lack of remorse and empathy.
"He is said to be a moderate risk of violent offending against particularly adult females within two years of his release.''
The report has recommended Pakenham, whose sentence end date is March 16, 2018, takes part in a motivational programme which would see him have up to 15 one-on-one sessions with a psychologist.
The parole board's decision said: "Accordingly, parole today is declined and we will see him in the usual cycle. In our view, Mr Pakenham's situation would be immeasurably helped if he could advice the whereabouts of his victim's body.''
