Wairarapa parents will have the opportunity to hear some advice on settling their newborn babies when a national expert comes to Masterton.
Sharlene Poole, better known as the "Baby Whisperer", will be in town later this week to talk to new mums, after being approached by Wairarapa Parents Centre.
MissPoole is a postnatal advisor who has her own line of DVDs and a regular spot on TV's Good Morning.
She said the talk will largely focus on winding and settling babies.
"That's basically the main reason babies are unsettled in the early days," she said.
Miss Poole said she had been in the country with her business Little Miracles for just over six years, and was labelled the "Baby Whisperer" after appearing on Sunday in 2007.
Organiser Liz Arthan said Miss Poole visited the centre about two years ago, and it was time to bring her back to help a new batch of mothers.
"We just feel that people might benefit from it," she said.
