A rematch of the RLN Premiership 2016 grand final headlines another busy weekend of rugby league action.
Defending premiers Takahiwai Warriors face off with Otangarei Knights in the biggest clash of the young 2017 season.
Takahiwai took out the last contest between the two, which gave them the title.
In an incredibly tight contest, the boot of Nic Poutuma saw them home 18-16 after the sides were tied up with just a minute left on the clock.
Both sides' 2017 fortunes have followed in the footsteps of the previous season, as both look in ominous form.
Otangarei started the season a little rusty but managed to shake off the cobwebs to beat Portland Panthers, before grabbing good wins over Northern Wairoa Bulls and Hora Hora Broncos.
The match will also be the first defence of the Harry Clyde Challenge Cup for Takahiwai, who have not been troubled in their two starts this season.
Elsewhere Moerewa Tigers will be looking for their third straight win when they take on Hora Hora.
Moerewa have shown consummate ease when attempting to pile on points, racking up 100 against Northern Wairoa and 84 against Hikurangi Stags.
Hora Hora, on the other hand, will be trying to bounce back from a big loss to Otangarei.
The final match of the round pits Northern Wairoa Bulls against the Hikurangi Stags.
Northern Wairoa will have been licking their wounds after their 100-18 thrashing at the hands of Moerewa and should be looking to bounce back strongly.
Hikurangi meanwhile are coming off their best result since returning to the RLN Premiership.
In a tense tussle, Hikurangi couldn't be split from Portland as they both shared the spoils in their 22-all draw.
All games kick off at 2:30pm.
