The regional inter club 1-5 year tournament, played last weekend, was won by a strong combination from the Takapuna Club " representing the North Harbour Centre.
Their total of 24 points for the day meant that they won the event outright with one round of matches still to play.
St Heliers, representing Auckland, were second and the Homai Club, representing Counties-Manukau were third.
The Kaitaia Church Rd and Kensington clubs found the competition too competitive for them, but the experience of playing against other centres at this level will stand them in good stead for the future.
