Three winning tickets from Saturday night's Lotto draw were sold in Northland, with one earning its holder a cool $1 million.
A ticket sold at Otaika Lotto & Post in Whangārei won $1 million in Lotto First Division.
As of yesterday the prize hadn't been claimed and a Lotto spokeswoman encouraged people to check their tickets.
Meanwhile, a ticket sold at Marston Moor, in Kaitaia, and another sold on MyLotto in Northland, were among the 14 sold nationwide which snared a share of Lotto Second Division. Each won $21,204.
Three of those players, who bought tickets from Pak'nSave Blenheim, New World Feilding and Redwood Lotto also won Powerball Second Division, taking their winnings to $27,517.
The million dollar win in Northland comes only a week after a ticket sold at Hammer Hardware in Kawakawa won $333,333 in Lotto First Divison in last Saturday's draw.
Also in that draw, a MyLotto player from Northland was among nine winners throughout New Zealand who each won $29,406 in Lotto Second Division.
Anyone who bought their ticket from the winning store should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ app.
Powerball was not struck on Saturday and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $18 million.
Strike Four also rolled over, and will be $300,000 on Wednesday.
