The family of a patched Northland gang member who was last seen with a man wanted for kidnapping and violent robbery have concerns for his welfare.
Waipapakauri man Kimble Taipo Moore, 48, was reported missing by his partner last week.
He was last seen at an address in Tapia with a fellow Tribesmen motorcycle gang member, 35-year-old Rawden James Yates, in the early hours of Friday.
Neither man has been seen or heard from since.
Police today said Yates, known as 'Big Boy', was wanted for kidnapping and aggravated robbery. He has access to firearms and should not be approached, police said.
Yesterday, family and police said they had concerns for Mr Moore's welfare.
He is described as 1.82m tall with dark hair and of solid build.
Yates is described as 1.73m tall and of obese build.
Anyone who sees either man is asked to contact police immediately.
