Police are urging residents in Northland to be on the look out for suspicious activity after the theft of some from a farm.

Eight sheep were stolen from the farm at Hukerenui in the first week of May and the farmer believes the offenders may have entered his property from Monument Rd. Police would like farmers and residents in the Monument Rd and Tapuhi Rd area to report any suspicious activity.

Anyone who has information on the theft of the sheep can also contact police or if they wish to remain anonymous contact the Crimestoppers organisation on 0800 555 111.
