A Whangarei couple are celebrating after they became $200,000 richer from spinning the Winning Wheel on Lotto's live draw on Saturday.
When Anna and Alan - they don't want their surnames used - spun the wheel it landed on $200,000 on the televised draw on Saturday.
Anna and Alan have a large family of five children and 10 grandchildren, and they share a strong love of kart racing. When Alan retired, he decided to turn his hobby into his livelihood and now runs a racing kart parts business from home.
With their winnings, Anna and Alan would love to attend NRL games in Australia to support the Warriors in person, and they may also go to England.
This is not the first time Anna and Alan have struck it lucky with Lotto, they have previously won $25,000 on an Instant Kiwi and $2200 on Big Wednesday.
Their son Charles cheered them on in the studio for Saturday's live draw.
