Tomorrow, Kaitaia will possibly have the largest proportion of Mini cars per capita in the world.
But the Mini overload won't last long, with the 60 Minis scooting off from the Far North town at 7am on the biennial Pork Pie Charity Run to raise money for KidsCan.
The Mini drivers have come from throughout the country to take part in the event, which follows in the tyre tracks of iconic Kiwi movie Goodbye Pork Pie.
The Pork Pie Charity Run will set off for Invercargill from Kaitaia's main street tomorrow and will include five cars from Northland, with one belonging to Phil Schultz and partner Margaret Povey.
It's the couple's second run and Schultz was starting to get excited about the trip as he took some of the South Island Pork Pie Runners to the Packard Museum in Maungatapere yesterday.
