The Boat Show at the Auckland Showgrounds came to a soggy end last night when the feature pool - containing 12 million litres of water - sprang a leak.
The 127m by 49m pool took two weeks to build and four days to fill, at a cost of $100,000. It was lined with 3.6 tonnes of special plastic.
The Fire Service helped to stem the leak, which show manager Dave Gibbs said was "nothing serious."
