Brother Bob's been much anthologised, remastered and repackaged down the decades but this one-stop shop effectively replaces and expands the massive-selling Legend collection.
Almost all the 14 Legend tracks are here (Satisfy My Soul isn't, and there are different versions of No Woman No Cry and Redemption Song) and there are seven others included: Lively Up Yourself, Roots Rock Reggae, Turn Your Lights Down Low, Sun is Shining, So Much Trouble in the World, the short version of the posthumously released Iron Lion Zion and the Lee Perry-produced I Know A Place which hasn't appeared previously on any Bob-thology.
Legend was sometimes criticised for ignoring the harder political material but if that was a problem this should rectify that perceived imbalance with the inclusion of the band version of Redemption Song and Trouble in the World sitting alongside No Woman No Cry, Exodus, Buffalo Soldier and other tougher material.
