Foals are heading to New Zealand for a one-night-only show in Auckland.

The Oxford indie five-piece are set to play the Town Hall on October 5 as part of a worldwide tour for their third album Holy Fire.

They were last in New Zealand to headline the 2011 Laneway Festival.

The band are best known for their Mercury-shortlisted 2010 album Total Life Forever, which featured the brilliant slow-burner Spanish Sahara.

Holy Fire was produced by Flood (PJ Harvey, U2) and Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs).

It has had a successful launch, with first single Inhaler hitting 2.7 million views on YouTube.

Tickets for the Town Hall gig go on sale on Monday from The Edge.
