Scott Styris is resigned to missing yet another New Zealand cricket tour as his prolonged recovery continues from a botched knee operation in South Africa eight months ago.
The 26-year-old tore a cartilage in his right knee on the eve of the first test against South Africa in November.
Yesterday he was replaced for next month's New Zealand A tour to India by Canterbury bowler Shane Bond.
