When it comes to McDonalds nuggets, if they aren't out quick then you'd best be calling the police - at least, that's what one Texan woman did after the fast-food chain took too long to fry her up some of their apparently elusive chicken.
A woman from the aptly namedtown of Waco called the police on Friday after planting herself in the drive-through and refusing to move.
Sargeant Swanton, a spokesman for the Waco Police Department, took to Facebook over the weekend to vent over the ridiculousness of the call.
"Yes it happens!!" he wrote.
Yes it happens!! We actually had the chicken nugget call last night! Officers called to a restaurant drive-thru because...
"We actually had the chicken nugget call last night! Officers called to a restaurant drive-through because a customer was mad her nuggets didn't get cooked quick enough and why she couldn't get them for free.
"Yes we went on this call. No ... she did not get them for free. Yes we actually tied up two officers on this call.
"Waco PD, where life is never normal," he ended.
And despite the call-out, it turns out the officers were already on their way after McDonald's were forced to call the police after the woman refused to move her car from the drive-through - while cars piled up behind her.
