Weevil now began the steep climb up the handle of the sugar spoon. He knew he was about to start one of those exciting adventures that he had always dreamed about. He also knew that his worried parents were way above him on the Top Shelf, amongst the flour and the biscuits. He did not know if he would ever see them again. He dropped lightly off the end of the sugar spoon and into the strange world of the Bottom Shelf. What he saw in front of him would change his life forever. It was unlike anything he had seen before. Squeezed in between the bottles and jars was a large upturned coffee filter held in position by tight ropes of straining spaghetti. It was like an enormous tent. Written on one side in big, bold letters were the words: `GERRY BLUEBOTTLE'S CIRCUS.
