Move over Meghan and Harry. Jennifer Aniston has just blown the royal couple out of the water with her sensational debut on social media.

It appears Jennifer Aniston has a lot of friends.

The former Friends star has smashed the Instagram record previously set by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's @sussexroyal account, amassing a whopping 8.6 million followers in just 24 hours.

It took the royals five hours and 45 minutes to hit one million followers and break the Guinness World Record back in April — but the actress managed to do it in five hours and 16 minutes.

In fact, so quick was her rise to Instagram fame — her account reportedly briefly crashed shortly after its launch.

Aniston poked fun at the technical snafu in her second-ever post, sharing a video from her new series, Morning Wars, of herself getting frustrated at a mobile phone while sitting in a make-up chair.

She captioned it: "I swear I didn't mean to break it … Thanks for the kind, glitchy welcome everyone."

On day two of Aniston's new-found social media presence, she's now at 10 million followers (as of Thursday morning).

She surprised everyone by suddenly appearing on Instagram earlier this week — and absolutely nailed her first post.

Aniston shared a selfie of her and her Friends co-stars Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry, captioning it: "And now we're Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM."

Earlier this month, Aniston hinted that she'd be open to joining the social media platform during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"(You have) a little bit more control over the narrative that's out there," she explained of Instagram's benefits.

"(You can) right some wrongs and some silly things that, God knows, are said often."
