After her star-studded baby shower in New York last month, Meghan Markle is reportedly preparing to repeat it all again with a second event in the United Kingdom hosted by her sister-in-law.
Kate Middleton will throw Meghan a baby-themed celebration for her family and new friends in the UK, US Weekly reports.
"There is still going to be some sort of private baby-centric event for Meghan's UK people, and Kate will host," an insider told the magazine.
"Her glam people and other relatives will be there. Not sure if it's a total baby 'shower,' but you could probably call it that."
Plans for a second baby celebration for Meghan come amid rumours of a rift between the two duchesses, news.com.au reports.
The former actress reportedly made Kate cry at a fitting for Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress prior to her wedding last year, however, it's since been suggested that any rift is the result of a feud between their husbands, Prince Harry and Prince Williams.
Last month, Meghan's friends threw her a no expense spared shower at the Mark Hotel's $100,000 a night penthouse in New York.
Hosted by Serena Williams and Amal Clooney, Meghan's former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney, fashion designer Misha Nonoo, TV host Gayle King, her wedding hairstylist Serge Normant, publicist Celine Khavarani and NBC Universal Cable chairman Bonnie Hammer were also in attendance.
The lavish celebration, which according to Tatler was paid for by Williams, featured a harp player, fairy floss machine, deliveries of pink and blue roses, and crates of Sancerre wine.
The 3000sq m, two-floor suite where the event was held boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and four fireplaces, with panoramic views of Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
