A Dunkin' Donuts worker has been slammed after video emerged of him cruelly pouring water over a sleeping homeless customer charging his phone.
In a video posted to Facebook, the employee can be heard yelling at the man sleeping inside the restaurant in Syracuse, USA.
But instead of attempting to wake the man up, footage shows the employee dousing the man in water.
"You going to sleep?" the employee said before drenching the man. "How many times I got to tell you to stop sleeping in here, my n****r? You here all day, you have enough time [in here] … How many times have the customers and the people going to tell you to stop sleeping in here?"
During the altercation, the employee is then heard admitting he purposely soaked the man, saying he didn't want to call the police, instead taking matters into his own hands.
"You know I'm not playing with you," the worker said. "And I ain't gonna call the cops on you like I said. You going to get out of here."
Footage also appears to show another person laughing at the homeless man.
There are now calls for the employee to be fired with thousands of people on social media slamming him for his cruel act.
"This is f**king disgusting I hope they are found and fired. Despicable!! They didn't want him to be there ask him to leave you don't pour cold water on him like he's a nobody. Let's hope the people laughing and being a part of this never have to sleep on somebody's part bench," one person wrote.
Another said: "That's an assault. And he's on the job... he needs to be fired and the victim should take legal action."
The man who posted the video has started a GoFundMe page to provide the homeless man with a new set of clothes, a meal and a phone charger.
"That poor guy. You never know what someone is going through in life. We need to find who is responsible!"
