British mum Alisha Tierny-March has caused controversy after admitting on TV that she has a favourite out of her four young children.
Tierny-March is mother to 9-year-old Addison, 7-year-old Harley, 2-year-old Kennedie, and 1-year-old Elijah.
Out of those, the mother has no issue admitting Kennedie is her favourite.
"When Kennedie came along, the other two were in school, so I got those whole six hours together. I breastfed her like I wasn't able to do with my other children," she said on This Morning, much to the dismay of the show's hosts.
The mother went on to admit she has a sort of ranking for her children and before favourite child Kennedie came along, her favourite was her second oldest Harley.
She said her eldest daughter Addison was a very difficult baby who she had trouble bonding with.
"She had colic and would scream from 2 in the afternoon until 2 in the morning. She was really, really hard work," she said of the 9-year-old.
Nowadays, while Addison is more artistic, the mother finds it easier to bond with Kennedie who is more into sports.
However, she assured the hosts no child gets preferential treatment, even if they're favourites.
Viewers could not believe what they were seeing and took to Twitter to express their "disgust" with some even calling the mother cruel.
The mother, however, remains positive that this will not cause any rifts between the children who, she assures, all feel loved.
