A Sydney family that faced "struggle after struggle" have become instant millionaires overnight.
The family, from Petersham in Sydney's inner west, scored a whopping $20 million in last night's Powerball draw.
And in a further stroke of unbelievable luck the family also won division two 19 times — which means they will pocket a total of more than $20.5 million.
The winning PowerHit entry was purchased by the young mother online at thelott.com.
She said just days ago, money was so tight she was forced to scrounge for change to buy a cup of coffee.
"I couldn't afford a daily coffee then, but I might go buy a cafe now," she told NSW Lotteries.
"It's come at the best time. It's been struggle after struggle.
"I'm definitely going to buy a house, we're renting at the moment. Our own place finally. This is just a dream come true."
The woman said her husband nearly had a "heart attack" when she told him the good news, and that she didn't sleep a wink since the numbers were drawn.
"I was calling him from the other room. I ran up to him and said 'I think I've just won Powerball — it says it here'.
"He said, 'You have, you've won it.' Then I started crying."
"I'm just so happy. It's huge," she said.
There was a second division one win of $20 million in Western Australia, and the winner is still unknown.
The six winning numbers in Powerball draw 1140 on Thursday, March 22 were 10, 17, 35, 40, 22 and 30, while the all-important Powerball number was 7.
