Durex is calling for Kiwi sex-testers - but is coy about exactly what they'll be signing up for.
Aside from revealing the move will involve a smartphone, the condom giant has given a firm, "No, I'm not in the mood" response to questions on specifics of the product trial.
The company this week announced it will diversify into digital technology, with the newly-formed Durexlabs set to unleash a "major product" this year.
The announcement included a call for testers "to be the first to experience this new breakthrough".
"With our years of experience, we know sex," Durex's head of research and development Richard Arnold said.
"It was only natural for us to look at how we could combine this with digital technology."
Durexlabs was developed in partnership with dating app Siren.
Susie Lee, head of Siren, said: "Through the proliferation of smartphones, social media and dating apps, technology has proven a hugely successful medium in bringing people together and maintaining close relationships.
"We are taking the next vital step by embracing technology to amplify human connection in the bedroom and improve our sex lives."
Kiwis who sign up are promised free access to the mobile sex technology for a limited time after the product's launch.
