A business survey across the Tasman has found rising interest rates continue to be the biggest concern for Australian businesses.
The Dun and Bradstreet business expectations survey also found fewer firms expected their sales and profits to grow in the next few months.
Dun and Bradstreet's chief executive Christine Christian says business and consumer sentiment has fallen from last year's record high.
"Against that landscape we would suggest any attempt on the part of business to raise prices may prove very difficult in the current environment," she said.
