    Is the New Zealand Herald subject to the NZ Media Council?  

    Yes, the New Zealand Herald adheres to the principles set out by the New Zealand Media Council. Complaints about an article must first be directed in writing to formalcomplaints@nzherald.co.nz

    If dissatisfied with the response, the complaint may then be referred to the NZ Media Council PO Box 685 Wellesley Street West Auckland 1142 or email info@mediacouncil.org.nz Further details and an online complaints form are available at www.mediacouncil.org.nz.
