Tama Murunui and Fred Plimmer won the Hastings RSA's sixth annual over 60s snooker pairs tournament at the weekend. Napier Cosmopolitan Club's Plimmer and Murunui of the host club were among 32 players from throughout the country in the event. The winners beat the National Service Club pair of Terry Mcaneney and Roger Buchan in the final. A host club combination of Ken Alexander and Mike Potter won the flight and Tony Wilson and Barry Hill the consolation plate.
