The 39th Winter Sports Exchange between Lindisfarne College and Rathkeale College, from Masterton, was played in Masterton on Monday with more than 100 students and staff from Lindisfarne travelling south.
In wet, heavy conditions at Rathkeale grounds, we had a very successful day and won the overall exchange comfortably by 5-0 matches, drawing one.
In rugby, our 1st XV won the Challenge Shield, 22-0 and the Under-15s won 48-0.
The soccer teams also had a "clean sweep" with the 1st XI winning the Liam (Paddy) O'Gorman Shield, 6-1, and the Junior A team won 8-1.
Our Colts hockey team won 9-1 while the 1st XI hockey team had a 2-2 draw but retained the Thomas Family Trophy.
Great results for Lindisfarne teams so well done to all the guys and the coaches.

Two hockey players are carving a niche in the hockey arena. They have made the cut for the New Zealand Under-18 Tiger Turf Hockey Squad.
Oscar Stewart: He continues to serve the school as one of its most outstanding sportsmen. This is meant in all facets of the word.
His skill level is significant. As a tall, rangy, speedy centre half, he has become dominant in attack and resolute in defence. He covers huge amounts of territory in any given game.
However, it does not stop there. Stewart, having played more than 140 1st XI matches, has played a prominent leadership role in the team as captain.
He has also helped in the coaching of our junior sides and this year has been appointed assistant coach of the Hawke's Bay Curtis Cup team. He has represented the Bay through all the age groups including the CD Under-21 side.
Taylor Wood: He is our most effective striker, with 144 goals in his 123 match career in the 1st XI. His drag flick is frightening and his power on the reverse has opponents ducking for cover. Like Stewart, Wood has represented the Bay through the age groups and CD at under-21 level.
