Two Hawke's Bay locals who graduated from police college last week are returning to the Bay to take up posts as constables.
Chad Prentice of Napier will be stationed in Wairoa and Melanie Russ of Taradale will work in Hastings.
Thirty-seven new constables graduated from the Royal New Zealand Police College in wing 265 in Porirua on Thursday and will be posted in stations around the country.
