Crowds fawned as models strutted their stuff down a Napier street yesterday to showcase the latest fashion from the city's retailers.
The Market St show featured ten stores from Icebreaker and Max Fashions, to homegrown retailers like KILT, and Charleston Chic.
Two Lippy Ladies co-owner Natalie O'Donnell said they lovedbeing part of the event, which was a good way to show off stock.
Their four models - including co-owner Karla Lewis and her mother - showed a mix of looks.
"It was great. We tried to do a range of clothing, of different brands and styles that we carry," Ms O'Donnell said. "We had lots of customers coming in afterwards."
Ziera Shoes worked alongside Jacqui E. to style six models, supplying the shoes and bags.
Manager Heather Ewart said "any opportunity like that is good to get your product out there, and get an instant response. We had people coming in to try on what they had seen."
She applauded organisers the Napier Business Association for the event - part of Saturday afternoon's CBD lineup, followed by the Napier Rocks concert.
"What the Napier City Business Association do is really good for Napier. It's good to be involved when you've got a proactive organisation trying to help the city, and its businesses."
