The sight of this car "parked" inside her Marewa hair salon was what confronted business manager Trudi Lowe on Saturday night.
Ironically the name of the business is Headlines and today the smart salon made them for all the wrong reasons after the smashing visit.
But despite the damage Mrs Lowe was looking on the bright side.
"It adds atmosphere," she said. And in the grand tradition of a barber shop or hair salon being a great place to relax and converse, the shattered frontage certainly provided a talking point.
"We didn't need this at this time of year but we have not closed the doors - we will work around it."
The incident happened about 9.45pm and is under investigation by police.
One person at the scene believed the car may have been "tagged" by another vehicle and went out of control, mounting the footpath and through the aluminium doors, and a display section, of the salon.
The driver was treated for minor injuries.
