A car driver who had a streetlight pole fall on their roof after crashing into it on a busy Napier road had a fortunate escape.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Kennedy Rd, in the Napier suburb of Onekawa, about 9.33am on Sunday.
A Fire and Emergency New
Zealand spokeswoman said a car crashed into a pole but there were no injuries.
Two fire trucks attended the scene.
