The organisers ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles and their spring fundraising run also carries the name but all motorcycles are welcome to be part of a big annual event being staged from Hastings on Saturday.
The Hawke's Bay Harley MC Spring Run is staged every September as a fundraiser to assist the club's chosen charity CanTeen which supports young people and their families dealing with cancer.
Club spokesman Dale York said the run was associated with the annual Can Teen Kids Run held in January where club members took the youngsters for a motorcycle ride and picnic.
Today's run will set off from The Angus Hotel in Hastings at 10am after registrations from 8.30am.
Mr York said all motorcycles were welcome to join the Harleys to take part in the more than 200km charity ride which, he said, would take place "rain or shine".
Ride tickets would be available on the day at $25 and as well as supporting CanTeen all participants could win prizes along the way.
Mr York said young people from CanTeen would also be involved through collecting tickets and speaking to the riders at the conclusion of the ride.
