Both Classic Hits Winery Tour concerts scheduled to arrive at Black Barn Vineyards in Havelock North next month have sold out.
Now in its sixth year, the Winery Tour features headline act Gin Wigmore - whose recently released album Gravel and Wine has already sold double platinum - alongside reunited Kiwi legends, The Mutton Birds, and talented newcomers, Avalanche City.
The event has become a popular annual attraction, with the first concert scheduled for February 12 selling out in just 24 hours.
Due to an outstanding response from the Hawke's Bay public a second date was added, for Monday, February 13, but those who didn't get in fast also missed out on that opportunity as tickets dried up yesterday.
Black Barn events manager Francis de Jager said it was the first time the vineyard had completely sold out on both dates, with days to spare.
"It's just stunning, obviously these events are a huge part of what we do and this tour is always fantastic."
Mr de Jager estimated most of the people who bought tickets would be locals, but some may make the trip from Palmerston North, Taupo or Gisborne.
Event co-promoter Brent Eccles was looking forward to the 17-date tour, which combines the winery experience with quality New Zealand music.
"I'm really excited to get this tour on the road.
"Not only is it proving a hit with the public but I have a feeling that the show itself is going to be a ripper."
The tour begins at Ascension Wine Estate in Matakana on Friday and concludes at Villa Maria Estate in Auckland on Saturday, March 3.
