Police have released photographs of puppies from the litter belonging to Scott and Kylee Guy to show how they would look now.
Three puppies from the litter of eight chocolate labradors went missing from the Guy's rural property.
The dogs' whereabouts is still part of the ongoing investigation into Mr Guy's death, police spokeswoman Kim Perks said.
The remaining five puppies have been placed with homes and are now 19 weeks old.
Photographs released are from one of the females from the litter.
The death of the Feilding farmer who was found dead on July 8, is still being investigated.
Police said yesterday they were emailing the couple's several hundred Facebook friends to help with background information.
The friends were being asked to provide contact details and say how they knew the couple, and for how long.
The case was also to feature on television crime show Police Ten-7 last night.
