With the school holidays now here, parents may be looking for ways to keep their young ones entertained, and there are plenty of activities available to help them out.
There is a hive of activity at Rotorua Library, with Matariki celebrations and school holiday programmes under way.
Although the Matariki Maumahara event today was cancelled, there are other events for people to enjoy.
The Matariki Mystery Art Bag session is on today, where tamariki can create a Matariki craft using a bag of mystery art materials in one of two sessions.
The 10.30am session is open to all ages with an easier craft for little hands and the 1.30pm session is for ages 5 and up.
Booking is not required for this activity. A gold coin koha is appreciated.

The Great Te Aka Mauri Scavenger Hunt has also made a return these holidays.
The Scavenger Hunt challenges children to follow clues around the library and answer questions about Te Aka Mauri.
Children can grab an entry form at the library and be in with a chance to win a reading prize pack.
