The city and coast reseal programme started over the weekend and will continue well into December.

Night works continue.

Roads where works have been completed include Mangamaia, Maungahaumi, Wairere, Panikau, Glenroy, Oliver, Makaretu, Whakarau, Arakihi, Waimaha, Pehiri, Ruakaka, Kopuapounamu, Maraehara and Utting roads.

“More than 100,000 tonnes of metal has been laid to date,” a council spokesman said.

MacDonald Road (Awapuni) is scheduled for permanent repair from October 29 to November 25.
