They're designed to celebrate excellence in sport but ESPN's annual ESPY Awards attracts one of the most diverse guest lists of any red carpet event.
From A-list actors and sports stars to daytime TV hosts and former pop singers, the ESPY red carpet is nothing if not eclectic.
And while Caitlyn Jenner undoubtedly stole the show in her stunning, floor-length white gown, there were plenty of other frocks and shocks on show.
RACHEL McADAMS AND JAKE GYLLENHAAL
These A-listers were on the presenting duty for the night, looking slick and stylish in these tailored suits. And while this pair certainly make a fine-looking couple, word has it it's strictly platonic. They were contractually obliged to show up together to promote their new boxing film Southpaw.

MEL B
Quite why Mel B was at the ESPYS remains a mystery. As does just who told her this dress was the right size? Everything about this outfit looks uncomfortable and squished. Remember kids, it's okay to go up a size.
Kylie and Kendall Jenner
The whole Kardashian clan was on hand to support Caitlyn Jenner last night but this pair came top-of-class in the style stakes. Kylie showed off her Kardashian curves in this dazzling gold number while Kendall looked every inch the model in this sheer-panelled gown.
Caroline Wozniaki
Caroline sticks to the first rule of fashion, accentuating her ass-ets in this cheeky gown. But that's where the good work ends. The green satin train looks cheap and the whole thing gives off a disturbing 80s prom vibe.
Victoria Azarenka
Meanwhile, fellow tennis ace Victoria Azarenka appears to be at a different party altogether, sporting this casual brunch look. Girlfriend looks like she's having a great time but we'd still like to see something a little fancier for this red carpet event.
Denise Austin
We don't actually know who Denise Austin is (an American fitness instructor and columnist according to Wikipedia) but this photo is too good not to share. This lady is pumped on life and loving it.
Halle Berry
This leather and lace number is giving us flashbacks to Halle Berry's Catwoman days, which is never a good thing. Admittedly, her legs look amazing but the rest is leaving us lukewarm.
Maria Sharapova
Berry's look is also dangerously similar to Maria Sharapova's black lace number, which also has an air of the underwhelming. Sharapova is known for her bold wardrobe choices on the court so it's disappointing she didn't bring her A-game to the red carpet.
Britney Spears
Another pop star that seemingly has no purpose at these awards, Britney Spears looks less-than-thrilled to be here. Actually, she looks like she just woke up from an all-night bender, still sporting last night's stage outfit. But surely not, right...?
Hannah Davis
Finally, Sports Illustrated model Hannah Davis shows everyone how it's done, looking flawless in this shimmering, silver number. Teamed with a tousled pony, this is just the right amount of flash. Nailed it.
