One incredibly ballsy music fan has landed a new job thanks to a killer playlist and a can-do attitude.
Jessica Bain applied for Spotify's Black History and Culture Fellowship, but instead of sending in a traditional CV, she uploaded her own playlist and a link to her website and threw it into the Twittersphere.
On her online CV, Bain wrote about key moments in black culture from the likes of Michael Jackson and Beyonce.
She wrote: "I can remember exactly how I felt when I first encountered moments like these in Black history because they've all informed my understanding of the world at large and on a micro level, my taste in music. Black history is happening now and it's everything to me, which is why I'm applying to the...Fellowship."
Her playlist includes an impressive roster of iconic black artists, such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and D'Angelo and the Beyonce-backed duo Chloe x Halle.
Lucky for her, Spotify either loved the playlist, her innovative application or both, and she got the gig.
