Hip-hop star Dr Dre has lost a trademark dispute against Dr Drai, an actual real doctor.
The rapper lodged the dispute against gynaecologist Dr Drai, full name, Draion Burch, applied to register the name Dr Drai.
Rapper Dr Dre argued the moniker would lead people to confuse him with Dr Drai, author of books such as 20 Things you May Not Know About the Vagina.
Dre argued the confusion would arise as Dr Drai was looking to sell audiobooks and podcasts and accused Dr Drai of attempting to "trade on the goodwill generated" by his name, The Independent reports.
The gynaecologist argued there would be no confusion as rapper Dr Dre is "not a medical doctor nor is he qualified to provide any type of medical services".
The doctor went further and added that he would not want to trade on Dr Dre's reputation, who he accused of being known for misogyny and "homophobic things".
When asked why he wanted to register Dr Drai, the gynaecologist and author replied: "because that's my name".
