The new trailer for Shailene Woodley's New Zealand-shot drama Adrift has debuted, giving viewers a glimpse of the disaster/romance movie.
Starring opposite Hunger Games star Sam Claflin, Woodley plays Tami, who attempts an oceanic sail with her partner Richard.
When they encounter a Category 5 hurricane, Tami must battle to get the boat back in working order while Richard is badly wounded.
Adrift was shot in Fiji and New Zealand. Directed by Icelandic filmmaker Baltasar Kormákur (of 2015's Everest), the film also stars Kiwi actresses Elizabeth Hawthorne (Filthy Rich) and Grace Palmer (Shortland Street).
Woodley met her Kiwi boyfriend Ben Volavola, a North Harbour rugby player, while filming in Fiji.
Woodley shared a few pictures of her time in New Zealand on Instagram, with visits to Ben and Jerry's ice cream and Auckland's West Coast beaches.
She was also spotted supporting Volavola at his Mitre 10 Cup Semi Final match in Christchurch last October.
Adrift is expected in New Zealand cinemas on June 28.
