With only six weeks to go until Justice League is - for better or worse - unleashed on the world, the folks at DC Comics and Warner Bros have dropped a new trailer.
This one tells us much more about the long-awaited superhero team up between Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, the Flash, Cyborg and, we dare say, Superman.
The fourth instalment in the DC Extended Universe, the comic powerhouse's connected movie franchise, Justice League comes after the critically dudded Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and the well-received Wonder Woman films.
Set to a cover of David Bowie's Heroes, the latest trailer was released at New York Comic Con over the weekend.
It all but confirms Superman's involvement in the mega story with a long sequence dedicated to his alter ago Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) popping up in Lois Lane's dream. The plucky reporter is clearly still dealing with the grief over his supposed death.
It's not the only reference to our nocturnal adventures as a voice-over says, "I had a dream it was the end of the world" accompanied by images of death, destruction and mayhem.
You know, standard superhero stuff. Followed by Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) whispering, "an alien invasion". By the by, those alien bad boys can fly.
Oh dear. What have our heroes gotten themselves into?
Justice League will be the first time Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) have appeared on screen for more than a minute - an Aquaman movie is the next DCEU film slated for release after Justice League.
Justice League was directed by Zack Snyder, who helmed Man of Steel and BvS, through principal production.
A family tragedy saw the director leave the production with Joss Whedon picking up on post-production and reshoot duties. Whedon is also credited on the screenplay.
Justice League will be released in cinemas in November.
