Kiwis are set to take over BBC's Later... With Jools Holland next week, with performances from Lorde and Aldous Harding.
It is thought to be the first time two New Zealand artists have appeared on a major international television show independently to each other.
The episode is also set to be the first time in 25 years and 50 seasons that Jools Holland has featured an entirely female lineup.
Jools Holland has a viewership of about 600,000 for its live show, a number which doubles when on-demand views are taken into account.
The episode is headlined by US singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, who is performing songs from her newest album Be Myself. Also appearing are Malian Grammy-award winner Oumou Sangare and London five-piece Pumarosa, among others.
Lorde is gearing up to release her highly anticipated sophomore album Melodrama, due on June 16. The singer has performed tracks from the album on Saturday Night Live in the US in March, as well as at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
Aldous Harding has just released her newest record Party, and earlier this year signed a record deal with British independent record label 4AD, who represent major artists such as Grimes and Future Islands. She was recently profiled in the New York Times and was named as an "Artist You Need to Know" by Rolling Stone.
In March, Lorde tweeted Harding's video for Imagining My Man to her 4.8 million followers, saying she was "the most interesting artist around".
This season of Later... With Jools Holland will premiere on SKY ARTS later this year.
