Ariana Grande will tour Australia and New Zealand for the first time in September, and fans could be forking out more than $800 for a chance to meet the pop star.

The American singer will play one show in Auckland on September 2 before shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

The ticket price for the Auckland show is unknown as yet, but if it's anything like the ticket prices for the Australian shows, fans should be ready to fork out some cash.

General tickets are going between NZ$107 and $160. Meanwhile, cashed up fans can expect to pay $858 to meet Grande as part of the top-priced VIP package.

There is also a package to watch Grande's soundcheck for $524 and enter the venue early for $374.

VIP tickets to Justin Bieber's Mt Smart Stadium show in March cost punters $625 - which did not include a meet and greet with the singer himself.

Grande's 2016 album Dangerous Woman entered the New Zealand charts at No. 1, featuring top singles Dangerous Woman, Into You and Side to Side.

Her latest hit is a collaboration with Calvin Harris - Heatstroke.

Tickets for Grande's Auckland show go on sale at 2pm on April 28.
