Actor Harrison Ford has pocketed a mini fortune after auctioning off his trademark Han Solo jacket from Star Wars.
After an intense round of bidding, the jacket sold for US$191,000 (NZ$275,000), TMZ reports.
Ford wore the jacket in the latest Star Wars instalment The Force Awakens.
According to the gossip website, Ford plans to donate the money to NYU Langone Medical Center and the FACES foundation, which funds research for epilepsy.
The actor has previously openly spoken about his 25-year-old daughter, Georgia, and her battle with the neurological disorder that causes unprovoked seizures.
At a FACES event earlier this year, Ford explained to New York Daily News how the disorder has affected his household.
"When you have a loved one who suffers from this disease, it can be devastating," he said.
"You know how it affects their lives, their future, their opportunities and you want desperately to find mitigation."
