John Campbell and his former executive producer Pip Keane will be back together on his new radio show.
Pip Keane worked on Campbell Live and will take up the role of executive editor on Radio New Zealand's new multi-media programme, Checkpoint with John Campbell, which starts on January 18.
Keane worked on the TV3 show with Campbell up until it was cancelled in May.
The new show will be a 90 minute news and current affairs programme on radio and streaming online.
Former executive producer of RNZ's Nine to Noon programme, Catherine Walbridge, is to rejoin the broadcaster as the show's deputy editor.
Both women take up their new positions in mid-December.
Keane has worked as an executive producer for the past 15 years on radio and television.
She also headed the production teams for the Paul Holmes show at TVNZ, Sky and Prime and produced the Marcus Lush Breakfast programme at Radio Live.
"To have two such high calibre producers bringing their skills to the new Checkpoint is a huge boost for the programme and RNZ," said head of content Carol Hirschfeld.
