A lucky group of ecstatic fans got to meet their idol Justin Bieber at the ZM Bieber-Q this afternoon, where the pop star used his iPhone as a ping pong paddle.

Bieber answered fans questions before performing acoustic versions of his hit song What Do You Mean? and another track, Hold On Tight.

One fan, Novita, said the pop star was "really lovely."

When she asked Bieber if he would be coming back to perform in New Zealand after the release of his upcoming album, he confirmed that he would.

Bieber also faced off against fans in a game of ping pong, lending his own paddle to his opponent and instead using his iPhone to hit the ball.

Last night Bieber performed an intimate show for 150 fans, before going wild at The Studio in Auckland with hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, where he sang and danced on stage while drinking a bottle of Hennessy and dancing shirtless in the crowd.
