Kiwi songbird Lizzie Marvelly hopes to become the Warriors much-needed lucky charm.
She will perform her new single Made for You at Mt Smart Stadium on Saturday, before her favourite rugby league side's final home game of the season.
Marvelly reckons it could be an ideal rev-up for the struggling NRL team.
"Singing before the match is a double win for me, as I also get to see my team play," she said.
"I am a faithful supporter. It has been a really tough season for those guys but they have so much heart. I will definitely be cheering for them and hope I bring them luck."
Marvelly's new song is her first move into hip-hop inspired music.
Released on iTunes this week, Made for You will also feature in upcoming Kiwi movie Born to Dance. The track is a collaboration with homegrown DJ and producer P-Money who is impressed with her change of direction.
The pair met last year at a Kimbra album launch in Auckland and struck up an immediate rapport.
"From our first meeting I discovered Lizzie had a love for R&B music that hadn't been reflected in her recordings to date," P-Money said.
"I wanted to see if we could explore a more soulful direction together.
"I set about creating a mid-tempo track to suit her. Lizzie loved it and wrote to it right away. Recording with her was super easy," he added.
"She really knows her voice and takes guidance really well."
