Bubbly girl-next-door Hayley was sent home by Bachelor Art Green last night, despite proving herself a crack shot on the rifle range.
The 25-year-old entrepreneur won the group date challenge, claiming special one-on-one time with the Bachelor but didn't receive a pre-ceremony rose.
Later that night, she was sent home.
Hayley was the last contestant to be invited on a date by the Bachelor, perhaps an early indicator she wasn't his type. But she made a lasting impression when she wrote a special rap for the Bacehlor, which will go down in history as one of the most cringe-worthy scenes the show has delivered.
Herald: Are you sad to have left The Bachelor NZ?
Hayley: I felt as if it was my time to go as on the night I had a gut feeling. However I am sad to say good-bye to Art and all the girls.
Did you enter the show expecting to find 'the one'?
In hindsight I wonder if I could have, however isn't that why any of us entered....to see if we could find Mr. amazing!
Is Art Green as nice as he seems?
Yes, he's down to earth and open.
How did all the girls get along when the cameras weren't around? Was there any cattiness?
We are all really good friends
Did anything happen on the show that you wish hadn't been cut for TV?
I did a lot of cooking for everyone, would have been great to show a quiche or two!
Or did anything make it to air that you wish hadn't?
Nope, I was completely myself and proud of how I came across and carried myself
What's the best piece of behind-the-scenes goss you can give us?
Kristy and I would do work outs in the mornings! And we loved doing yoga in the garden
Have you found love since your time on The Bachelor?
Time will tell :)
